Fairly, I've never heard of this product before and this is my first time purchasing from their brand.

Packaging of the product

The packaging is really alike to UD Naked 2 eye shadow palette. I have to state the packaging quality is really good and the material of the palette is very similar to Naked 2 palette. They also come with a good size mirror which is really appropriate for applying the makeup.

Icon Shades

Okay, now talk about the shades in the eye palette. So, we have 12 shades of eyeshadow. 3 matte shades and the rest 9 shades are metallic. It is very close like the Naked 2 palette.

Icon Texture

Most of them are powdery and it has a smooth when you feel the eyeshadow with your fingers. Also, that, it is attractively swatched on my fingers and hand. Unfortunately, it doesn't really apply to my eyes like it does on my fingers particularly with the brushes. I also find it solid to blend and it can be a little bit thick sometimes when the colors blend with each other in a weird way. But the pigment is very good for the price point. My thoughts

I love the shade Flirt, Gilded, Slate and Java. My least favorite shade from this palette is Nectar, Canvas, and Nude. Yes, all of the matte eyeshadows in this palette is not my cup of tea. This is because one it is really chalky and powdery. Two, it applies really patchy and doesn't blend really well. Also, that, it doesn't really show up with my skin appearance. I think people with fairer than my complexion can use these shades as a change shade. So, in conclusion, I think they should improve their formula of their matte shades and I'm not really mad about their metallic, I think they are still satisfactory for the price. However, I also love to have a matte black eyeshadow in this palate instead of two almost same shade of metallic grey.

Does it make an exceptional dupe for the UD Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette? Not really because UD palette are great high quality and their pigmentation is silly. Besides that, their eyeshadow blends really remarkable. So, for the price, I would say ICON eyeshadow is pretty dope for their metallic shades and organized with the icon palette absolute new york you can create some beautiful look on your eyes.
